In the 24th minute, Benedicto Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Dayo's Victorio Theobald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Ermegildo Breogan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to Guerrero AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Raimundo Lonzo hit a great ball. Victorio Theobald in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octavio Furman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute, Rogelio Osoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dayo's Victorio Theobald got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Theobald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Octavio Furman made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Polentzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Octavio Furman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Abecia's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Dayo booed when Guerrero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Theobald in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guerrero AFC's Octavio Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Theobald in the 61st minute of play. Melquiades Beti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Gervasio Bikendi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victorio Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victorio Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andres Silvera took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Furman. Octavio Furman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Victoriano Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The Dayo fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Dayo's Victorio Theobald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the match, Guerrero AFC's Victoriano Polentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Bikendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Theobald in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Furman saved Guerrero AFC from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Guerrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Theobald came free, but Octavio Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
