The supporters of Pergamino booed when Zezi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Ticho scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquilino Avellaneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Rolando Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Hilario Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Gaspar Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Dalmai in the 41st minute of play forced Zezi FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Pergamino were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gaspar Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Avellaneda having to interfere. In the 65th minute Rolando Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Dalmai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Avellaneda having to make a save. Gaspar Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Avellaneda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Luar in the 78th minute of play forced Pergamino's goalkeeper Guido Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Avellaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Gorka in the 83rd minute. When Sergio Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Zezi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Victorino Cordaro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Aquilino Avellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pergamino. When the final whistle sounded Pergamino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zezi FC.
