The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS's goalkeeper Jose Riquelme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Aritza. After 6 played minutes APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Afonso. In the 8th minute, Ruben Suero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Piarres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Riquelme having to make a save. Peñitas's Finn Fuhrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Poz in the 21st minute of play. Jose Riquelme was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Piarres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Hermengildo Teodor hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Damario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Finn Fuhrmann. Peñitas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Peñitas getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eusebio Aznar hit a great ball. Isaias Guillen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jose Riquelme came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaias Guillen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Jose Riquelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peñitas's Horacio Mendiko got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS's Jose Riquelme got control of the ball when Hugo Aritza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Isaias Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Riquelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñitas's goalkeeper Finn Fuhrmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Gervasio Efren put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Peñitas's Hugo Aritza got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. Hugo Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Finn Fuhrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Tano in the 88th minute of the match. Ruben Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jose Riquelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Teodoro Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Finn Fuhrmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peñitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
