In the 6th minute Joaquin Resto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Darien made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alonzo Chucho sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Norino having to interfere. Desiderio Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Huly, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Desiderio Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Huly in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Eduardo Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River FC the free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, River FC's Tomás Huly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Norino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jorge Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. River FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 40 played minutes Capla FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Marko. After the first half River FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Eguerdi to make the kick off. In the 66th minute, Angelino Eguerdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Norino having to interfere. If Alonzo Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Alonzo Chucho put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Darien. After 78 minutes, Tomás Huly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River FC and the Capla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, River FC's Tomás Huly got a free kick in the 78th minute. Capla FC's Iker Elixio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for River FC. In the 86th match minute, Capla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Jerold to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Osvaldo Nuno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Capla FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Pacho. Alonzo Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Capla FC to leave the ground with a draw.
