Saverio Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Cordarrel in the 4th minute of the match. Saverio Mantzio came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrella Roja's Enrique Chepe. But to his dismay, Enrique Chepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Eleuterio Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfonso Bembe fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Churqui F.C.'s protests and gave Alfonso Bembe a yellow card for diving instead. Honorato Gonsalvo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Gaspar Fix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Mantzio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Enrique Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Cordarrel in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Mantzio saved Churqui F.C. from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Churqui F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Cordarrel came free, but Saverio Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Salvator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Churqui F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mauricio Azibar hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Churqui F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Cordarrel came free, but Saverio Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benvide Queipo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benvide Queipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Churqui F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benvide Queipo to maneuver through the defense. 1-2 became the score in the 48th minute when Arnoldo Cordarrel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Cordarrel to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Jeremias Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Mantzio having to interfere. Saverio Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Enrique Chepe sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute of the match Mauricio Azibar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Lauro skillfully saved the ball. Jeremias Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elvio Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Churqui F.C.'s Alfonso Bembe got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jeremias Koldobika kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Koldobika in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Lauro saved Estrella Roja from getting behind. A collision led to Estrella Roja getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ceferino Lorien hit a great ball. Estrella Roja's Elvio Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Salvator in the 98th minute of play. The Estrella Roja supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Estrella Roja would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
