Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cândido Sousa in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Barea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adam Gierasik hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Maximo Enetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernando Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Gierasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Enetz got free with Fernando Iztal in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Odol's late challenge caught a SOFIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SOFIA FC's Maximo Enetz got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Adam Gierasik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cândido Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Gierasik's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Xoan Barcenas made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Barea. SOFIA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Fernando Iztal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Gibson FC booed when SOFIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Sousas short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Tobias Barea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
