Bernabe Liher came out of the goal and Valdomiro Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Mattin took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Liher. Bernabe Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leopoldo Gaspard hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Gaspard during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Gaspard got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Tartalo Rivera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Smeulders in the 28th minute. Gustaaf Smeulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tartalo Rivera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Claromeco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Shantala to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Mariano Cebrian in the 32nd minute really tested Tartalo Rivera's skills. Bernabe Liher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes, Generoso Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claromeco and the Sevingé FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gustaaf Smeulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sevingé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Smeulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tartalo Rivera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 79th minute, Astor Pe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Eduardo Bras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Liher. Sevingé FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Bras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Valdomiro Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Smeulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Boxall struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Bernabe Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claromeco. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Claromeco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
