The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Isauro got free with Federico Iratze in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, BanfieldTuTe's Federico Iratze got control of the ball when Isidro Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. BanfieldTuTe's Federico Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Arnalt in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Bartolo Isauro made the kick off in the second half. Defensa y Justicia's Miguel Manilan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Aureliano Arnalt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Federico Iratze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Defensa y Justicia booed when BanfieldTuTe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Kimetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. BanfieldTuTe were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Defensa y Justicia's much stronger midfield.
