Spectators: 6939 (Terracing: 5311, Seating: 1628, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raul Gaizko made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Zeledon Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.SyD Alvear's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GELP the free kick. After 3 played minutes C.SyD Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Leheren. 9 minutes into the match, Raul Gaizko notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GELP's Ladislao Ferran. Ladislao Ferran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, GELP's Ladislao Ferran got control of the ball when Laureano Gines tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of C.SyD Alvear booed when GELP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GELP were furious when German Maraman was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 30th minute, Laureano Gines left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.SyD Alvear fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dario Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Ferran made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Laureano Gines sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 56 played minutes C.SyD Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Roldanillo. After a rather tough play, C.SyD Alvear's Hernan Orlondo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Victor Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriana Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the GELP defense, Laureano Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Ferran. The GELP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Ferran should have stopped the shot. After having played for 68 minutes, Laureano Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.SyD Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Gines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Ferran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Laureano Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GELP's Ladislao Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Roldanillo in the 78th minute of play. Adriana Aimar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Ladislao Ferran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Gines went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 89 minutes, Laureano Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.SyD Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Victor Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.SyD Alvear's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
