Pelle Svanberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Pelle Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Fermin Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Pelle Svanberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chorrillos's Hilario Acuña. Hilario Acuña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes C.A. Temueve got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Oroitz. Enrique Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Felipillo having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Florencio Chinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hilario Acuña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Cheche. After the first half C.A. Temueve were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pelle Svanberg was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillos's zone, Pelle Svanberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Acuña came out of the goal and Pelle Svanberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hilario Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Dalmau in the 62nd minute of play forced C.A. Temueve's goalkeeper Eliseo Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. Temueve's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dalmau came free, but Eliseo Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Acuña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Chinto went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. C.A. Temueve's Maximino Medardo was substituted for Placido Garoa. C.A. Temueve's Eliseo Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cheche in the 80th minute of play. Pelle Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Carlos Llorenc put in a rough tackle. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Chorrillos. Alfonso Guib stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eliseo Felipillo. 2-4. Chorrillos's Domingos Peli suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Oroitz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded C.A. Temueve left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chorrillos.
