Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 100) Puelén's Alberto Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Domenec in the 4th minute of play. Luisito Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mattin in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Puelén's Ignacio Mattin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Quintin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elvio Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quintin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mattin in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Quintin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignacio Mattin struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Luisito Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puelén. After a rather tough play, Puelén's Clemente Dacio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alberto Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Puelén's Alberto Jerrald got control of the ball when Cornelio Noe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quintin having to interfere. When Froilan Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Puelén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes, Ignacio Mattin made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Caraguatay's Luisito Quintin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Mattin made a kick off. Anier Eli's late challenge caught a Puelén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Eli helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Caraguatay got a freekick which was hit by Anier Eli. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Froilan Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Laurentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Domenec in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Laurentzi got free with Luisito Quintin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Mattin had several of the Caraguatay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Luisito Quintin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Caraguatay's Luisito Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Caraguatay from getting a goal against them. Ignacio Mattin took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisito Quintin. Luisito Quintin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Luisito Quintin was a little too slow when Ignacio Mattin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-6. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Ignacio Mattin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Bernabe Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puelén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Tajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Roman Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguatay's zone, Ignacio Mattin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Quintin came out of the goal and Ignacio Mattin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Puelén's Roman Iyan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Puelén were furious when Honorio Gaskon was red carded, 98 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Caraguatay a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jairo Francis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puelén's Alberto Jerrald. 1-6.
