Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmacio Domenec started the match with the kick off. Felix Osoro scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Quintin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Felix Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Felix Osoro sped through Caraguatay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Quintin. In the 21st minute, Felix Osoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Santa Fe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Samuel Jorrin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luisito Quintin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Caraguatay's Anier Eli got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luisito Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Osoro in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguatay's zone, Samuel Jorrin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Quintin came out of the goal and Samuel Jorrin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Osoro in the 34th minute of play forced Caraguatay's goalkeeper Luisito Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Jorrin in the 37th minute of play. Felix Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quintin having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Caraguatay's Dalmacio Domenec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Abilio. Zeledon Abilio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. If Dalmacio Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caraguatay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Santa Fe FC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Felix Osoro made the kick off in the second half. If Cornelio Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felix Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atlético Santa Fe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Abilio should have stopped the shot. Samuel Jorrin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Luisito Quintin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luisito Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caraguatay's Luisito Quintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Osoro in the 83rd minute of play. Cornelio Noe struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Zeledon Abilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraguatay. If Samuel Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tomás Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraguatay's protests and gave Tomás Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Atlético Santa Fe FC played a much better game than Caraguatay and deserved their victory. The Caraguatay players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
