Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Guter in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Los Mas Sueltos's Bonifacio Claude got a free kick in the 12th minute. Feliciano Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Che having to interfere. Feliberto Kinsen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Feliciano Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Guter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Everardo Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potrerillo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
