Ciriaco Valerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 15 minutes, Tadeo Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Ticho was a little too slow when Tadeo Froylan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Claudio Noe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of finguer fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE:s goal. Benedicto Ticho went to the wrong direction when Gerardo Beat was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Constantino Corderall took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Valerio. Ciriaco Valerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Arnoldo Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Beila came free, but Ciriaco Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, finguer fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Froylan came free, but Benedicto Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Normando to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Fabian Remigio made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Ticho. finguer fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Jairo Kelemen fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's protests and gave Jairo Kelemen a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Arnoldo Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Valerio having to interfere. If Cecilio Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Normando struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ciriaco Valerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for finguer fc. Anier Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Valerio having to interfere. If Arnoldo Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ederono to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Angelo Eguerdi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Valerio skillfully saved the ball.
