Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Abaunza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teodosio Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Urtun in the 2nd minute of the match. Ladislao Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Isidor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Durazno AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Teodosio Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Isidor in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodosio Abilio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Purple Cobras got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Fero. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Cobras's zone, Ladislao Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Abilio came out of the goal and Ladislao Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Sidro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Telesforo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Abilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Urtun in the 24th minute of play. If Ladislao Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ladislao Isidor came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Durazno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Isidor couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Cobras's zone, Ladislao Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Abilio came out of the goal and Ladislao Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Remir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Teodosio Abilio made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Urtun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Isidor in the 61st minute of play forced Purple Cobras's goalkeeper Teodosio Abilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durazno AFC's Ladislao Isidor got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Ladislao Urtun made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Abilio. Purple Cobras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ladislao Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durazno AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Benicio Sidro scored to the left of an out of position Valentin Telesforo, making the score, 1-1. In the 82nd minute Ladislao Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Ladislao Isidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purple Cobras's Teodosio Abilio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Abilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Urtun went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ladislao Isidor's late challenge caught a Purple Cobras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Isidor helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Isidor hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Purple Cobras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Durazno AFC.
