Damaso Nofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunampa. Michel Teixeira hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sunampa's Anselmo Vasco got control of the ball when Haroldo Gervaso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Gervaso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Haroldo Gervaso made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Vasco. Sunampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anselmo Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Gervaso in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sunampa's Conrado Felo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Millrick ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Salvator hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes, Haroldo Gervaso made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sunampa's Anselmo Vasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sunampa's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lacademia R.C had won, even though Sunampa had held more of the ball.
