German Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Millrick in the 31st minute of the match. German Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sunampa's Anselmo Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Xabat in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arnulfo Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute of the match Matyáš Giménez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Johans skillfully saved the ball. Constantino Xabat kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Conrado Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, DAGER F.V.S. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Hotz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Horacio Millrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Johans was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Conrado Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Horacio Millrick lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated German Johans. After having played for 88 minutes, Horacio Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Millrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Johans was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Sunampa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
