But to his dismay, Juan Carlos Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute, Osvaldo Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Felo in the 30th minute. Osvaldo Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunampa's goalkeeper Anselmo Vasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Gervaso to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Flores was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Lacademia R.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th match minute, Sunampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Salvator to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lacademia R.C's Juan Carlos Flores got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Damaso Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Millrick in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Sunampa booed when Lacademia R.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Gervaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Felo in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sunampa's Anselmo Vasco got control of the ball when Osvaldo Betadur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldo Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Haroldo Gervaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sunampa lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
