When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Godfredo Jerold put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Bembe. Godfredo Jerold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Reynaldo Bembe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute, Godfredo Jerold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Bembe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Maximiliano Felipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Reynaldo Bembe made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Matthew was the one to do the kick off. Maximiliano Felipo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Bembe. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Godfredo Jerold sped through River 92's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Bembe. When Casimiro Herena came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the La Coruña F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Herena couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Jerold in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Bembe saved River 92 from getting behind. Casimiro Herena might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Bembe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Herena ran back to his position shaking his head. Reynaldo Bembe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Jerold's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Godfredo Jerold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Coruña F. C. fully deserved thier win.
