An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Aznar in the 3rd minute of play forced Athletic de Pompeya's goalkeeper Cirilo Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cirilo Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Roman Senon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Bihar. Athletic de Pompeya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Senon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cirilo Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Senon in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Amado Aznar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cirilo Bihar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cirilo Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Urtsua in the 14th minute of the match. Eleuterio Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Etxatxu having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Athletic de Pompeya's Anastasio Ordono seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anastasio Ordono the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Athletic de Pompeya protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anastasio Ordono had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Virgilio Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilaquina's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Bihar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Amado Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Athletic de Pompeya's Claudio Leocadio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Leonides Sein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Athletic de Pompeya's Claudio Leocadio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eugenio Etxatxu but with some difficulty. The supporters of Quilaquina booed when Athletic de Pompeya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Obeko's late challenge caught a Quilaquina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Obeko helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Obeko hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Leonides Sein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Athletic de Pompeya and the Quilaquina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Athletic de Pompeya got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Sein. After having played for 43 minutes, Amado Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilaquina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Athletic de Pompeya's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Senon came free, but Cirilo Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Bihar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Senon in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Aznar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Quilaquina's Roman Senon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Bihar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 minutes, Benito Urtsua made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Athletic de Pompeya's Cirilo Bihar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Senon got free with Cirilo Bihar in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64th play minutes Roman Senon shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Cirilo Bihar and just under the crossbar into goal. Amado Aznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Athletic de Pompeya's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Desiderio Peruanton in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Desiderio Peruanton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Etxatxu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Athletic de Pompeya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Virgilio Francho scored to the left of an out of position Cirilo Bihar, making the score, 0-7. Athletic de Pompeya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Benito Urtsua scored to the left of an out of position Cirilo Bihar, making the score, 0-8. Eleuterio Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilaquina's Atilio Romagnoli was substituted for Saturnino Favila. 82 minutes into the match, Benito Urtsua dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cirilo Bihar, 0-9. In the 89th minute, Benito Urtsua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilaquina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Quilaquina's Melchor Urtsua was substituted for Virgilio Francho. 95 minutes into the match, Athletic de Pompeya's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Senon came free, but Cirilo Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
