In the 14th minute Bartolo Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alejandro Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yucumanita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Peyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Simon Chuse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alvaro Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Yucumanita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Gabrio came free, but Cristobal Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Simon Chuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Oriche was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Roman Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Genaro Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Chuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Oriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The Yucumanita AFC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Yucumanita AFC's Alfredas Račys looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Jorge Richie made the kick off in the second half. Hernan Oriche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Peyo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Hernan Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Marholz in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Peyo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Oriche saved Marquitos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Roman Lidon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Oriche was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The supporters of Yucumanita AFC booed when Marquitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Richie in the 91st minute of play forced Yucumanita AFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
