An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gonzalez in the 6th minute of play forced Oasis's goalkeeper Roman Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, one of Oasis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oasis. After a defensive mix-up in Oasis's zone, Rafael Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Jax came out of the goal and Rafael Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Roman Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match Fabricio Tabby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Jax showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rafael Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Oasis got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Gomez. Roman Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Humberto Gomez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Gomez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 54th minute Rafael Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Confesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Jax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Oasis's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gonzalez came free, but Roman Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Jax was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Gonzalez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Bochahuasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Amato to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Bochahuasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
