Lucas Koldo's late challenge caught a River Rosario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Matias Francho fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talagapa's protests and gave Matias Francho a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Talagapa got a freekick which was hit by Matias Francho. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Severo Roldan sped through Talagapa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herminio Igon. 36 minutes into the match, River Rosario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Stanislao came free, but Tomas Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Severo Roldan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Rosario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Talagapa's zone, Severo Roldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Igon came out of the goal and Severo Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Rosario FC's Tomas Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Stanislao in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Mateo Stanislao made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Pelagius during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blas Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Herminio Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there!
