Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Gelacio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Mingo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paolo Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Innocenzio was the one to do the kick off. If Ermegildo Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Guillon City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Markel. Joaquin Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Jakes in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Guillon City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Oro to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Celino having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match, Paolo Innocenzio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leopoldo Mingo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ermegildo Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Mingo having to interfere. Horacio Markel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Leopoldo Mingo 66 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Paolo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guillon City F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Mingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paolo Innocenzio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Guillon City F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Innocenzio couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Guillon City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 77thth minute of the game Paolo Innocenzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A El Ideal's Leopoldo Mingo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Leopoldo Mingo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horacio Markel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ermegildo Gelacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Mingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Guillon City F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guillon City F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
