Americo Pancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 19th minute, Bonifacio Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Ceandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Lehen in the 20th minute of the match. Lucio Lehen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Club General San Martin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Goicó a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucio Bernabel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club General San Martin's Napoleon Kissel. 1-2. Hernan Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baldomero Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Goicó's Baldomero Argenis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Kissel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Goicó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Martin Cisco scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Ceandro, making the score, 2-3. 47 minutes into the game, one of Goicó:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

After 57 played minutes Goicó got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Gipuzkoa. Hernan Ceandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Guipuzkoa in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Goicó defense, Americo Pancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Ceandro. The Goicó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Ceandro should have stopped the shot. Americo Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Ceandro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Cisco in the 66th minute of play forced Goicó's goalkeeper Hernan Ceandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Club General San Martin's Severino Elequemedo made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Ceandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Ceandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Pancho in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Goicó booed when Club General San Martin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
