Pascual Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yatay. 8 minutes into the game, Eriberto Kiliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El rojo fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatay the free kick. In the 8th match minute, El rojo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Yatay got a freekick which was hit by Martin Marquez. After 13 played minutes El rojo fc got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Jeraldo. A collision led to El rojo fc getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Efrain Pepillo hit a great ball. If Martin Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Amadeo Valerio charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Valerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Filomeno Gabrio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Pascual Duardo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Filomeno Gabrio this time. After a rather tough play, El rojo fc's Artemio Sayvion got a free kick in the 24th minute. Martin Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Duardo having to interfere. Martin Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pascual Duardo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Yatay's Ramon Ritchie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascual Duardo. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play.

Pascual Duardo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Yatay's Martin Marquez. But to his dismay, Martin Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Yatay's Edelmiro Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Dabi in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Marquez in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Duardo saved El rojo fc from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Anselmo Dabi took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Edelmiro Ferman to make any attempt to save it. After 72 minutes, Anselmo Dabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El rojo fc and the Yatay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Dabi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, El rojo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Ritchie came free, but Pascual Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Prudencio Sugoi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El rojo fc's protests and gave Prudencio Sugoi a yellow card for diving instead. Prudencio Sugoi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Rodrigo Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Ramon Ritchie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Duardo. El rojo fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Ritchie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
