The Ombucta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Gimenez should have stopped the shot. Lázaro Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ritchie in the 10th minute of play. Damaso Giro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Martin Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ombucta's Lázaro Gimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lázaro Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔平德 in the 15th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Ritchie was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ombucta's Eliseo Firmo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lázaro Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ombucta's zone, Oscar Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Gimenez came out of the goal and Oscar Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yatay's Oscar Urti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Gimenez. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. In the 61st play minute Martin Marquez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lázaro Gimenez. 0-6. A collision led to Ombucta getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tiburcio Espiridion hit a great ball. The excitement rose when Yatay's Ramon Ritchie after 67 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Ombucta's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-7. The supporters of Yatay booed when Ombucta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Gimenez made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Oscar Urti sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Urti in the 86th minute of play forced Ombucta's goalkeeper Lázaro Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th play minute Oscar Urti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lázaro Gimenez. 0-8. Romulo Viator hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Ombucta's goalkeeper Lázaro Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 孔平德. Yatay played a much better game than Ombucta and deserved their victory. The Ombucta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
