The player immediately received a yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Rapanui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ramon Ritchie placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 9th match minute, Rapanui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Haslett to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Rapanui's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Ritchie came free, but Amador Hechter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Ramon Ritchie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Amador Hechter to make any attempt to save it. Amador Hechter was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Ramon Ritchie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramon Ritchie really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 27th minute Edwardo Haslett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Hechter made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ramon Ritchie sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Amador Hechter managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Yatay's Martin Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Oscar Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
