Raul Romelio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustaquio Heces. LAMAFIA09's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franklyn LaGarde might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Gonzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklyn LaGarde ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Gonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Cortez in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute, LAMAFIA09's Wilfredo Cortez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute Wilfredo Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, one of Ceibal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ceibal. Julian Garci hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alejandro Gonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Cresconio in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Franklyn LaGarde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Gonzo. Ceibal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklyn LaGarde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklyn LaGarde got free with Alejandro Gonzo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franklyn LaGarde charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklyn LaGarde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franklyn LaGarde hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Heces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Caetano was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Cortez in the 52nd minute of play. Alejandro Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklyn LaGarde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes of play, LAMAFIA09's Wilfredo Cortez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Gonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 62 minutes, Franklyn LaGarde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LAMAFIA09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklyn LaGarde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, LAMAFIA09's Wilfredo Cortez made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Gonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of LAMAFIA09 booed when Ceibal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ceibal's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Cortez came free, but Alejandro Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Franklyn LaGarde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Franklyn LaGarde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Gonzo. In the 96th minute Claudio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LAMAFIA09 had played much better football throughout.
