Nunez Casomiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Michel Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Reyes during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Horacio Leocadio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Michel Paraense was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ezequiel Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. La Gloria's Michel Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Casomiro in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, La Gloria's Alonzo Bernal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Gonchan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hector Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Altos Hornos Zapla's Nunez Casomiro got a free kick in the 38th minute. Edelmiro Gonchan came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Gloria's Hector Pagomari. But to his dismay, Hector Pagomari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 48th minute, Horacio Leocadio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Nunez Casomiro made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Horacio Leocadio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Michel Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Horacio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 68 in the game by Hector Pagomari from a close distance when the talented Edelmiro Gonchan managed to make a qualified save. Altos Hornos Zapla's players were relieved. The referee gave La Gloria a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ezequiel Quexal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Altos Hornos Zapla's Edelmiro Gonchan. 1-3. Michel Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Casomiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Leocadio in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Altos Hornos Zapla's goalkeeper Edelmiro Gonchan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Pagomari. When Hector Pagomari came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the La Gloria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Pagomari couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Bernal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. With his leg Edelmiro Gonchan managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when La Gloria's Hector Pagomari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edelmiro Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Bernal in the 95th minute of the match. Altos Hornos Zapla's Horacio Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Altos Hornos Zapla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Gloria's performance. The match ended with a win for La Gloria.
