The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rusticos's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Godoi came free, but Fulgencio Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rusticos booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Gasteiz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes in the game Federico Jacindo got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Federico Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fulgencio Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Fulgencio Mikelats managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Independiente Rivadavia's Germano Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 93 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Santo Sotero. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Federico Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Jacindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Mikelats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independiente Rivadavia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
