After a defensive mix-up in Bernal's zone, Candido Pepillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Gar came out of the goal and Candido Pepillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Per-Oskar Olofsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorio Rivas. The goal made the score 1-0. After 19 played minutes Bernal got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Milian. In the 23rd minute, Clodoveo Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Martes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Harkaitz. If Candido Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Martes FC booed when Bernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martes FC's Romulo Luar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bernal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Olofsson in the 38th minute of play forced Martes FC's goalkeeper Honorio Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Per-Oskar Olofsson rounded Martes FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Marolly made a kick off. When Erik Marolly came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Marolly couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Martes FC's Lucas Harkaitz got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Per-Oskar Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernal's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Oskar Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Rivas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Candido Pepillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bernal's Generoso Milian got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The long shot by Leonardo Luzea in the 80th minute really tested Elias Gar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Honorio Rivas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Marolly's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Erik Marolly took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Rivas. Honorio Rivas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Clodoveo Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Ebardo couldn't finish the play. In the 94thth minute of the game Erik Marolly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martes FC's Honorio Rivas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clodoveo Ebardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Rivas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Ebardo ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bernal fully deserved thier win.
