In the 6th minute Cristian Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Geropanagiotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Juan Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Grey Goose F.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Clodoveo Vela hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cristian Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christos Geropanagiotis. Grey Goose F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christos Geropanagiotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Grey Goose F.C.'s zone, Elvio Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Geropanagiotis came out of the goal and Elvio Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edgardo Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pablo Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BENJAMIN F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Naldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Geropanagiotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Gonchan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Garcia to make the kick off. In the 86th minute, Cristian Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 minutes, Clodoveo Vela made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. BENJAMIN F.C's Cristian Larroque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Garcia in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christos Geropanagiotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the BENJAMIN F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
