Fölktergeist's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aintza Crespo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Ostots struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Domingo Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fölktergeist. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fölktergeist's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of boca el mas campeon booed when Fölktergeist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play boca el mas campeon's Apolo Rodas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
