Cláudio Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of lasallano booed when Sarasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Natanael struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Cosme Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for lasallano. After 16 minutes, Cornelio Natanael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the lasallano and the Sarasa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Venerando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bonifacio Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Romildo in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Sarasa FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Romildo. Salvador Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Venerando having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Pablo Panpili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the lasallano and the Sarasa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Panpili hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gualterio Romildo was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cosme Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Txurio in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 played minutes Sarasa FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Ritchie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Godoy during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sarasa FC booed when lasallano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Senon hit a great ball. With his leg Cosme Venerando managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when lasallano's Salvador Txurio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th minute, Tobias Robstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of lasallano booed when Sarasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball.
