The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Lisandro Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INSTITUTO A.C.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Harkaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Prudencio Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacañitas's Prudencio Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Harkaitz in the 13th minute of play. Tadeo Pirmin lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 23rd minute, Tadeo Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Jakobe having to interfere. In the 37th minute Armando Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Eduardo Egoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaudencio Frichoso scored 1-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Ireno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaudencio Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. INSTITUTO A.C.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaudencio Frichoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Evaristo Javiar came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tacañitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Javiar couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Eduardo Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Eduardo Egoitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prudencio Jakobe. The goal made the score 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. INSTITUTO A.C.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
