In the 6th minute, Gerardo Furman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB's Marcos Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Veronica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Furman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB booed when C.A River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Fidensio got free with Andres Reyes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Leonardo Vedillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 30 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Milio came free, but Andres Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Donzel came free, but Ezequiel Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Furman's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Angelo Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute of the match Melchor Sasoin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Veronica skillfully saved the ball. If Marcos Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half C.A River Plate were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gerardo Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Veronica having to interfere. After 61 played minutes YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Iraunkor. Leonardo Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Donzel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Andres Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Pagomari in the 77th minute of the match. Marcos Pagomari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Furman came free, but Ezequiel Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antonio Mendiko fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Antonio Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Mendiko. Leonardo Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Ezequiel Veronica managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when C.A River Plate's Gerardo Furman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 90 played minutes Gerardo Furman rounded YOSAPAS FUTBOL CLUB's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. A collision led to C.A River Plate getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Isidro Ferman hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A River Plate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
