SURAN's Clodoveo Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Dobos in the 15th minute of play. Nereo Frantzes's late challenge caught a Fútbol Club Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Nereo Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SURAN's Clodoveo Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Dobos in the 18th minute of play. Nereo Frantzes made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fútbol Club Fortuna's Segundo Ramone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Ramone during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Fútbol Club Fortuna got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Ramone. Nereo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Montae having to interfere. In the 27th minute Albino Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes Fútbol Club Fortuna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damaso Ilixo who took care of the corner kick. Albino Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, László Dobos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Brion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of SURAN booed when Fútbol Club Fortuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Albino Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot. SURAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Gaufred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Montae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Brion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Dobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 85th minute Nereo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fútbol Club Fortuna's Honorato Frasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clodoveo Brion. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. Fútbol Club Fortuna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
