Nereo Elizardo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Presebal in the 10th minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Ramiro Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabián Cubero charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabián Cubero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Presebal in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Villa La Perla getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fabián Cubero hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Delmar Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pibe Atletic booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Delmar Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa La Perla's Ramiro Valery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Valery came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Pibe Atletic's Gabriel Esiquio. But to his dismay, Gabriel Esiquio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Amador Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmar Vargas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Presebal came free, but Ramiro Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Vargas in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Valery, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ramiro Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 62 played minutes Pibe Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Olivera. Pibe Atletic's Alonzo Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Elizardo in the 63rd minute of play. Villa La Perla's Ramiro Valery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Villa La Perla from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Presebal in the 70th minute of the match. Alonzo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Romeo Mikelar with Fernan Betadur as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Delmar Vargas scored 0-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Valery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Delmar Vargas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro Valery, 0-5. Delmar Vargass short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Ramiro Valery to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 97th minute, Gabriel Esiquio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pibe Atletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Pibe Atletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
