Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Mazuste could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Benicio Isias however easily saved by the left post. When Melchor Sotil got free in front of the goal in the 29th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Maximo Urtungo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Mauro Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Maximo Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Beat in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Mendebal during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Everardo Beat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Urtungo. Hurlingham AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Beat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Eate to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Eate, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Melchor Sotil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Maximo Urtungo made a huge save. When Melchor Sotil came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Talleres de Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Sotil couldn't finish the play. Talleres de Cba's Melchor Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Ignazio's late challenge caught a Talleres de Cba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Ignazio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hurlingham AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Carmelo Ignazio hit a great ball. Maximo Urtungo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Sotil's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Hurlingham AFC's Maximo Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Hurlingham AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Belarmo got free with Maximo Urtungo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Sotil in the 88th minute of play forced Hurlingham AFC's goalkeeper Maximo Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Urtungo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Belarmo in the 89th minute. When Higinio Naelio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Cba's protests and gave Higinio Naelio a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
