Erubiel Mero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita AFC's Justino Gora got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Fábio Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Oscar Orland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Cirilo Kepa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Elixio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, Amadeo Umea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Orland. The goal made the score 2-1. Justino Gora charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Gora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Cienaguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Gora to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Filipo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Amadeo Umea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Oscar Orland made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Kepa was the one to do the kick off. Fábio Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Fábio Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Orland. Cienaguita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fábio Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cirilo Kepa struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gaston Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita AFC. With his leg Gaston Elixio managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Cienaguita AFC's Mauro Gabon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the game, Victorino Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cienaguita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave – Club S. Villa Cubas™ — the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Cienaguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Abreu to maneuver through the defense. When Fábio Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the – Club S. Villa Cubas™ — fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Rodrigues couldn't finish the play.
