An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Gonzo in the 11th minute of play forced Trebolares's goalkeeper Rolando Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Trebolares's Tomás Dunixi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Garcia. Jesus Garcia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of CyB Ramón Santamarina booed when Trebolares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Celestino Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see CyB Ramón Santamarina's Angelo Joanes in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 36 minutes into the match, CyB Ramón Santamarina's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Dunixi came free, but Jesus Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trebolares's goalkeeper Rolando Colas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Nuno hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. CyB Ramón Santamarina's Jesus Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Dunixi in the 77th minute of play. Pablo Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Lucio Gonzo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Trebolares's Rolando Colas. Rolando Colas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CyB Ramón Santamarina's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Trebolares had won, even though CyB Ramón Santamarina had held more of the ball.
