Gustavo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humbug F.C. the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Hernan Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 minutes of play, Humbug F.C.'s Pastor Cebrian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Error Palencia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Leonardo Isidor could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Evelio Firmin however easily saved by the left post. After 10 minutes, Jeronimo Garin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Humbug F.C. and the Gustavo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gustavo FC booed when Humbug F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes, Gustavo FC's Marco Errolan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evelio Firmin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gustavo FC reached it. Marco Errolan charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Errolan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Gustavo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Errolan to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Eguntsenti in the 17th minute of play. Gustavo FC's Error Palencia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Bastiaro in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Gustavo FC's Leonardo Isidor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 28 played minutes, Humbug F.C.'s Ezequiel Romano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Error Palencia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Humbug F.C. reached it. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Americo Eguntsenti put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evelio Firmin. Pastor Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Bastiaro in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Error Palencia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Marcos Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Leonardo Isidor in the 49th minute really tested Evelio Firmin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Gustavo FC's Americo Eguntsenti in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Humbug F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Leonardo Isidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evelio Firmin having to make a save. When Hernan Goi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gustavo FC's protests and gave Hernan Goi a yellow card for diving instead. Hernan Goi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Leonardo Isidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match Marco Errolan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Firmin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Humbug F.C.'s Herminio Gabino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ciriaco Jesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evelio Firmin. Humbug F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Error Palencia made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Bastiaro in the 81st minute. Humbug F.C.'s Herminio Gabino pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Marco Errolan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gustavo FC's Marco Errolan got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Humbug F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Garin to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Firmin having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Fulgencio Paul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
