Balvanera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquiú FC the free kick. After 2 played minutes Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Guido Iratze. 4 minutes into the match, Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Celipe came free, but Bernát Bakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Esquiú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Mingo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Lleir in the 13th minute of play forced Esquiú FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Aritza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gregorio Gabrio made a huge save. Orlando Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bernát Bakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Esquiú FC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Ferrando. After 29 played minutes Esquiú FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Mingo. The supporters of Balvanera booed when Esquiú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Lleir in the 32nd minute of play forced Esquiú FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esquiú FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Martin Lleir scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Gabrio, making the score, 1-0. Sebastian Aritza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Gregorio Gabrio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Osvaldo Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernát Bakos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Aritza in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Gabrio saved Esquiú FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Osvaldo Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquiú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Eskuin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernát Bakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gregorio Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Aritza's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Esquiú FC's Gregorio Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Lleir in the 57th minute of play. Gregorio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Esquiú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Aritza came free, but Gregorio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodolfo Mingo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Esquiú FC's Rodolfo Mingo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gregorio Gabrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Aritza went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dalmacio Celipe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernát Bakos having to make a save. Gregorio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Ulizes in the 82nd minute of play. Julio Ferrando hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Martin Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gregorio Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Balvanera had played much better football throughout.
