An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Chorche in the 5th minute of play forced TuVieja FC's goalkeeper Fidel Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match TuVieja FC got a corner. Talleres de Córdoba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charlie Stamp ran over to the corner to take the kick. The long shot by Bernardino Azeari in the 18th minute really tested Faustino Baristo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fidel Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Darius Abendroth came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faustino Baristo could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the game, Eriberto Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres de Córdoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TuVieja FC the free kick. In the 25th minute, one of Talleres de Córdoba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Talleres de Córdoba. Fidel Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alonzo Rios fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TuVieja FC's protests and gave Alonzo Rios a yellow card for diving instead. Alonzo Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Santo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres de Córdoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Jakue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Jakue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Rumaldo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Faustino Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Rios in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Rios was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Jakue acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernan Evarado. In the 54th minute, Ubaldo Chorche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Jakue was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Córdoba's Serginho Ramos got a free kick in the 69th minute. Talleres de Córdoba's Faustino Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Stamp in the 70th minute of play. Charlie Stamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Faustino Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ernesto Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Alonzo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Azeari during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, TuVieja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Azeari to maneuver through the defense. Talleres de Córdoba's Edward Ciszewski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fidel Jakue but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Talleres de Córdoba's Fidel Jakue threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edward Ciszewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the game, Gustavo Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TuVieja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres de Córdoba the free kick. Gustavo Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The TuVieja FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talleres de Córdoba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
