When Domingo Benitez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Salvador F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Benitez couldn't finish the play. Domingo Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Chañarmuyo's Florentino Edorta got a free kick in the 28th minute. Osvaldo Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Benitez in the 35th minute of play. Osvaldo Mendebal came out of the goal and Domingo Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañarmuyo's goalkeeper Osvaldo Mendebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Benitez was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Salvador F C got a corner. Chañarmuyo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Maurino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Salvador F C's Mateo Maurino to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Mendebal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silvio Koldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Hodei went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Salvador F C's Domingo Benitez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Mendebal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filiberto Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Osvaldo Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Salvador F C's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Dimas came free, but Silvio Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Domingo Benitez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chañarmuyo's Osvaldo Mendebal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Mendebal made a huge save. Salvador F C's Silvio Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Hodei in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Domingo Benitez lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Osvaldo Mendebal. Osvaldo Mendebal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Benitez went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Salvador F C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
