Ildefonso Iratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Peruxu in the 5th minute of play. Club Atlético Toro Rojo's Ildefonso Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Faron in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guañizuil FC's Lucio Nastasio got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Guañizuil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Erruki came free, but Roman Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Iratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Faron in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Miguel Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Jesus Gonsalvo made a precise shot to the right of Roman Peruxu. Guañizuil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 28 played minutes Guañizuil FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Chepe. Roman Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Zunbeltz Peinador recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Peruxu. Zunbeltz Peinador showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Horacio Faron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Iratze. Club Atlético Toro Rojo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Faron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 40 minutes into the match, Guañizuil FC's Americo Peruxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Iratze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zunbeltz Peinador recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Roman Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Erruki made a kick off. If Jesus Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Gonsalvo in the 54th minute of play forced Guañizuil FC's goalkeeper Roman Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Zunbeltz Peinador had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Peruxu. Guañizuil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zunbeltz Peinador was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 5-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Clemente Erruki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ildefonso Iratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ildefonso Iratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Gonsalvo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Peruxu having to make a save. If Leo Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Zunbeltz Peinador left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Toro Rojo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 78th minute Clemente Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Clemente Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Toro Rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Erruki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Endira during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Clemente Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot.
