Edelmiro Min kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Ricardo Gai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Hats. Paso a Paso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Gai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Igor Raszkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Róbson Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Americo Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gaudencio Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Alberdi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaudencio Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Martin Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Fausto Cebo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Hats skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute Gaudencio Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atlético Alberdi's Róbson Quintal got control of the ball when Igor Raszkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Club Atlético Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Laureano Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Paso a Paso got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Nastasio.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Eron to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Igor Raszkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso a Paso's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Raszkiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the game, Ricardo Gai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roberto Hats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 minutes, Fausto Cebo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Alberdi and the Paso a Paso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paso a Paso booed when Club Atlético Alberdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Igor Raszkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paso a Paso's Roberto Hats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Paso a Paso from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Alberdi's Laureano Lazcano got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes, Paso a Paso's Florencio Guib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbson Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paso a Paso reached it. Roberto Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Hats was a little too slow when Ricardo Gai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. Roberto Hats came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Alberdi's Ricardo Gai. But to his dismay, Ricardo Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to Paso a Paso getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Florencio Guib hit a great ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Gaudencio Eron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paso a Paso's Roberto Hats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paso a Paso's Roberto Hats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Paso a Paso from getting a goal against them. Roberto Hats was a little too slow when Gaudencio Eron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Alberdi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
