Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Mirueña in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cortadera's Ermegildo Orlondon got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Leon Rencio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Procopio. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute, Basilio Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, Gladiadores's Rafael Barros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorival Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gladiadores reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Vito during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the last second Herminio Procopio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leon Rencio in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Cesaro got free with Herminio Procopio in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Alfonso Scibilia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leon Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Carlos Mirueña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alfonso Scibilia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herminio Procopio firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Rencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leon Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Scibilia in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Cesaro in the 59th minute of play forced Gladiadores's goalkeeper Herminio Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Alfonso Scibilia notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Gladiadores's Herminio Procopio. Herminio Procopio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herminio Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Scibilia in the 63rd minute of the match. The Cortadera fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Cortadera's Alfonso Scibilia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Romulo Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Procopio. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Procopio should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Evaristo Silviano hit a great ball. Gladiadores's Herminio Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Cesaro in the 76th minute of play. Gladiadores's Epifanio Gombal was substituted for Godofredo Joseph. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arnoldo Qwinton hit a great ball. Carlos Mirueña struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dorival Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiadores. Arnoldo Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Herminio Procopio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Rencio's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Iker Enekoitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Dorival Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Alfonso Scibilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Cesaro scored 7-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Procopio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cortadera had played much better football throughout.
