Esteve Oier scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Telmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ciriaco Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Castulo in the 25th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Castulo was the one to do the kick off. Ciriaco Telmo was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Dario Licerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Licerio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
